In the past several years, Red Light Therapy (also known as Photobiomodulation Therapy) has been touted as a replacement for sunlight. And while Red Light Therapy can be helpful to improve mood, optimize sleep and relieve minor pain, IT IS NOT a substitute for natural sunlight. We believe in a method using both. Having as many red lights around the house is huge, and if you have access to a red light bed, that is amazing. But get out into the sun at sunrise, sunset, everyday. This is red light therapy. As well, don’t be afraid to soak in maximum sun all day without sunscreen.
